About Us

The Auckland Chapter of the H.O.G. was formed in 1990 and now has a membership of around 350. We have regular monthly meeting nights and have a full riding calendar including day-long chapter rides, dinner rides, mystery rides and a regular Saturday cruise.

We hold our Chapter nights on the 4^th Monday of every month at Manukau Cruising Club, Orpheus Drive, Onehunga, Auckland. The meeting starts at 6:30pm and there is a meal available at the Club Rooms for $15.00 a head.

Every Saturday afternoon we have a ride that leaves from our dealer Auckland Motorcycles and Power Sports in Khyber Pass, Newmarket at 1:45pm. These rides are usually 2 to 3 hours in duration and stop off for coffee on the way.

Each month, on the Sunday before our Chapter night, we have our Chapter Ride. This ride leaves in the morning and is around 4 to 5 hours in duration, stopping for lunch and fuel on the way.

We publish a monthly magazine on-line that has photos, stories and reports on rides and information about what's coming up in the weeks ahead.

The chapter organises many other events including Ride Right Ride Safe courses with BRONZ, picnics, weekends away, Hard Arse rides (over 700km in a day) and the Annual Poker run for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Northern, the charity which Harley-Davidson has supported internationally since 1980.

We are looking forward to hosting the 2013 New Zealand National Rally here in Auckland from February 14^th at the Ellerslie Convention Centre. See you there!
